Emerald Quay’s community space
The Compass is Emerald Quay’s community space, part of the Leisure Centre near the middle of the development. It has had various uses over the years, was refurbished by the Emerald Quay community in the late 2010s, and is currently run as a general access community space for clubs and other social activities in the Quay.
Recent events have included yoga, games nights, wine tasting, music nights and a book club. It often hosts craft sessions for local children, and an annual Christmas Fair.
The Compass is open during the day as a place for people to work and meet, when other activities aren’t happening. You can download the current schedule of events below.
